"Claire!" indeed. I miss her so much.

"Gout throne" killed me dead. Here I am, commenting from the afterlife.
You need to watch SouthLAnd. Holy shit, she's incredible in it.
100% agreed. I was annoyed because 4 days after intracranial surgery, he would not be extubated. He'd still be on a ventilator. The only reason he'd have that tube out is if Carrie, as his DPOA, asked them to, and that would be part of a process toward hospice/comfort measures. I really wish writers would get this…
Also pretty perfect: referencing Jared Leto's pseudonym (Bartholomew Cubbins) in a scene featuring Claire Danes.
I wouldn't do that if I were you. Next thing you know, your TV will quit its job and go work for your nemesis.
I'm glad Brody's photo made its appearance. I actually ended up rewatching some of the pilot episode after this most recent one to see if anything had been foreshadowed about this Nazari storyline. Nothing gained there, but interesting to point out that that photo was actually part of Carrie's first interaction with…
Right? I came here expecting nothing and yet…here it is. Incredible!
Julianna's laugh gives me life.
Actually his bandmates were in disguise…as Led Zeppelin.
I love her so much. I'd like to think that Nina Hoss's awesomeness alone was what brought the setting to Berlin this season. Now if only we could get more screentime from her.
It's abundantly clear that those two crazy kids could never make a long-term run at a blissful, normal life together, but I know I'm not alone in hoping they at least break the goddamned sexual tension after all the shit they've been through together.
It probably has a lot to do with the rapport between Danson and Wilson's characters. I love the slight tension they have between them (being father- and son-in-law), but also the obvious respect they have for one another as professionals.
Going to be honest here: I have the final five episodes of that season just languishing on my DVR. I never could get into it and not really sure why.
Man, that line about Vietnam ("sometimes wonder if you boys didn’t bring that war home with you") really got me. Perhaps it's been said before, but I'd never heard it voiced in such a way. That was a gut punch and I'm not sure I'll ever forget it.
Excellent callback. Perhaps she's a better shot when she's off her meds?
"I wish they'd made Diane a judge, that would at least add a new dynamic. I'd miss seeing her outfits, but I could deal."
The only thing that would have been worse is grape.
Yeah, that was my biggest takeaway from the rap beef plot.
Call Me a Dog is the best damned song on that album, no competition.
