Season 2 is so good! The best yet.

I've gotten that vibe about Nick, too. He is morphing into Charlie Day. The world can't handle two of them. Would be nice to have a "Nick is a normal—if not cranky old man in young man's body—dude" episode soon. I want to see him have some wins and actually grow as a character in a way that isn't necessarily through

And the Botox, definitely.

"Weirdly, hilariously deranged," a.k.a. Jeremy Davies' baseline.

Carter is breaking my heart this season. She is so, so good.

Jere Burns is so good because his "surprised" face is his "always" face.

Had to laugh when Occam's Razor was invoked, as I already had "Contact" on the brain seeing Busey's name in the credits.

Catch and Release is my go-to chick flick. It is also how I first saw and fell HARD for Olyphant. The movie itself is nothing memorable, but oh boy, that first kiss between him and Jennifer Garner is the hottest damned thing…

Also a callback to the Sharks episode a few weeks back.

Nick's word-stumbles were so cringey but evolved into uttery hilarity. Johnson was fantastic.

Line of the episode.

I can't believe I missed all of this. God bless The AV Club.

I suddenly feel better about my class song being goddamned Rusted Root.

I squealed with glee when I saw Anthony Edwards. I didn't realize how much I missed him on my TV. More Mel & Mel, please!

Everything is BS except Kirke's comments. Fucking hilarious!

Amen! I don't mind the lead actor - I think he had kind of a "young Brad Pitt" vibe - but Pitts was fucking perfect in that role. I will forever defend the movie, purely for his sake. Coop is legendary.

If you're talking about Eurotrip, I will kindly invite you to shut your whore mouth.

I pray that this is true. All I want out of this final season is more Tim. No more, no less.

Speaking of Du Maurier…the move to summer means Anderson and Duchovny (new show Aquarius) will be on the same channel at the same time. I see a subtle marketing strategy there.

Send her to England with Ryan for the summer (since they're both teachers, that would be totally reasonable) and let the dudes take over the loft. Shenanigans ensue, Jess eventually returns (with or without Ryan), etc.
