I preferred the orchestral pieces over the Celtic-tinged tunes, but that's not to say they aren't wonderful. I just always felt songs like "Roslin and Adama," "Shape of Things to Come," and "A Promise to Return" packed a bigger emotional punch, but you certainly can't go wrong with "A Good Lighter"

All of the advertising makes it look like a different kind of show. It was a bit strange for me to see ads after having only seen the first season on Netflix, as their tone doesn't match the atmosphere of the series at all. A bit strange.

“Morning, Starbuck. What do you hear?”
“Nothing but the rain.”

I am so pissed Patti killed herself. Dowd was the best damned thing about this show, whether she was speaking or not. Sad to see her go.

Get on it! No seriously. It's wonderful. Nothing like it on TV and I'm so happy with this news. There is plenty of story left to tell.

I especially loved the line about how "difficult" it was for Gilfoyle to get into the US. (paraphrasing): "My car broke down on the Ambassador Bridge, so I had to walk the last half mile".

I've somehow missed this joke over the years…that is such classic Hedberg. RIP.

I agree, and the fact that Teddy read her reaction as relief and attacked her for it from the get-go made me so angry, but it was accurate. The guy is a little too "in his own head" to realize that she probably had a lot of feelings going on. While relief was likely one of them, he didn't even give her a day to let

"Anyway, I was kind of hoping "My Way" would be played over that slow dance scene."

Fashionably so.

What he's trying to say is…don't watch "Black Market."

Yes, or some of that colored powder that they use in those Run or Dye/Color Run type 5K events. Nontoxic, nonviolent. I think it's a win.

Me, as well. I'm quite sure that's the part when I started weeping, and the tears didn't stop til the credits rolled. Such an affecting ending to a polarizing show. It made me wish Netflix had held the reins all along.

I really would love to see Demme direct Kinnaman in a feature film one of these days. JK was always quite good in this show, but Demme seemed to bring out the best of him.

I agree. You don't see this sort of partnership very often, with the female being the more experienced of the pair. Their relationship's progression was interesting because despite her initial judgement, she noticed his strengths pretty early on and respected him for it. It would've been tiring if she disrespected him

I actually liked that about her casting. She was small, but mighty.

I really don't see it happening. The way they wrapped it up was perfect, and I think the plausibility of a third rescue from cancellation is zero.

I just watched World War Z last night and got all sad about Rubicon again when JBD appeared. Plus, cool, Linden was in it too (though they gave her very little to do).

Season 3 informs much of season 4, plus it was really good. I wouldn't watch them out of order, but YMMV.

Did you really not get a hint of their devotion to one another throughout the whole show? I'm not saying that anything about their friendship ever made me believe they'd fall into bed together, but she was his touchstone (and vice versa) throughout the show's run. It was believable to me that she returned and he
