My sister makes vegan muffins (not cupcakes, I know) and while they are a bit denser than standard muffins, they are quite delicious. I can see how it'd be problematic for cupcakes, though, as the air bubbles in the texture are what make them wonderful.

I really enjoyed the interrogation room scene after Richmond and his cronies left the room, the way Linden walked up to the mirror knowing Holder was on the other side. Then we see the reverse side of the mirror, with him standing there. That shot was really beautiful, IMO.

Lots of people from BSG on the entire run of the show…Helo was Linden's ex/Jack's Dad. Admiral Helena Cain (Pegasus) was Mitch Larsen. Leoben was Linden's fiance/shrink. There were a couple others, as well, but those were the big ones.

I'm sorry but I was a blubbering mess through the entire final half of the finale. I have to admit I am a huge, ridiculously girly girl, and that hit me to my core. I think it was a perfect ending. I love how it was left ambiguous, and yet…completely clear. There was really no other ending that could have been as

Vancouver for the whole run, though I imagine the finale required some location shooting.

I let out the biggest "oh what the fuck…OF COURSE" when he wheeled in. Well, played, Veena. Well played.

Well I objectively disagree!

Are you sure that's not a description of Dexter?

I mean, they are pretty much the nectar of the gods.

Glad to oblige! Loving it so far (2 eps in). Holder is Holdery and Linden is sweatery. No gum yet, though, and only a light drizzle. Surprisingly abundant sunshine. Better wear your Ray-Bans…

Yes, it's felt natural so far, especially with Holder. I'm a little disappointed it didn't open with him dropping the previously-advertised string of fuckery that surely followed S3's finale, but I'm hoping to see a flashback in the homestretch.

Two episodes in and I am practically blinded by all the sunshine. All the better to light Joel Kinnaman's beautiful face…

It's not three seasons of suck. People were pissed about season one's finale and all of season two because of misleading advertisement. I argue that this show lends itself MUCH better to the Netflix-binge format than the weekly episodic format. Season 3 was objectively good television, and I'm two eps into season 4

I'll add to my list. Friday Night Lights and S4 of (Fuck you,) The Killing are my more immediate addictions.

I think Teddy was inclined to agree with you there. He seemed downright delighted and nearly smitten.

I have no idea what "Les Revenants" is, but I agree with you. Best two shows on television. Mad Men is consistently great, but it's comfortable and lived-in. Rectify and Hannibal just plain DELIVER. There's something to be said about mastering a feeling of unease in every single episode. It never feels cheap, there

I just started watching this show and I cannot EVEN with these two. UGH. So damned adorable and perfect and I want to be Mrs. Coach except I don't have half her poise. This is such incredible casting, such incredible chemistry. Love!

The parking lot confrontation reminded me a lot of two similar I'd seen recently: the secretary at Lockhart/Gardner who was sobbing over Will, despite not really knowing him, and the student blubbering about Jason Street in FNL (yes, I JUST started watching it). I like to think scenes like these teach that someone
