It helps that they're quick, but it's a beautiful watch and I never skip it. I can't help but wonder who the lady holding the baby is…Daniel and his mother probably? That always catches my attention. Lovely little piece of music, as well.

Good catch. I had a little giggle at that name, as well, knowing the breed's context. I think Daniel needs a dog. It'd bring some constant joy to his life :)

Yes, but that store gave us sardonic Zooey Deschanel on the PA, so it's a win in my book.

I think it was after he landed that impossible first shot. Was it Bolton? The Spin Doctors? Doesn't matter, really. Both got what was comin' to 'em.

Yeah, the promos for the show with the rock music and the voiceovers are a little weird. Doesn't fit the actual tone of the show they're advertising.

I only started S1 on Netflix last weekend, then caught S2 eps 1-4 On Demand (HD). It was disappointing to see ep 5 DVRed in SD. HD On Demand is the way to go, I guess, just seems silly it's not broadcast that way.

He was, not coincidentally, in Garden State. He was the cop who pulled Braff's character over, and then they realized they went to high school together.

A friend of mine used to be nicknamed MRA in high school, a quaint little acronym that stood for "major retarded ass," due to her perceived obliviousness. I like to giggle whenever anyone invokes the same acronym for men's rights activists because…well…

I agree, I thought he looked downright manic the entire episode, and then when Donna found him in "the grave," it seemed like a full on psychotic break. They've attributed some of his past loose-cannon behavior to drinking, but this is something entirely else.

Well, Brian is a drummer. It was inevitable.

He said he would basically get her prettied up for the meeting with Yankee. She didn't take too kindly to that suggestion.

I don't think Lisbeth was crazy at all. She was just very, very angry, and very, very specific in how she applied that rage.

I still can't believe he's the same lovely creature from Top of the Lake. I have the weirdest feelings for Linder. Mostly I was glad to find out the character was actually an OK guy after all the early misdirection.

Can't believe it took 25 episodes for Kohan to shoehorn that book in. She should be proud for showing such restraint.

I said to my boyfriend, "those girls' boobs are too small for wearing bikinis in Texas in the 80s."

Well said! Perhaps that's still coming, and she has her inevitable scene of turning heads as she walks in the office in her new business attire, signifying a change in her outlook.

I so, so wanted to hate that scene, but it just screamed "this one's for the ladies," so I intrinsically had to be ok with that.

I was rooting for her to find some business-appropriate clothes that didn't make her look like a dowdy frump. There are certainly ways to still be punk and workplace appropriate. All blacks and greys with no freaking bows at the collar is usually a good place to start.

Stupid Sexy Lundqvist.

Michael Weston is forever terrifying to me thanks to that episode.
