It holds a lot longer than beer due to the ABV and being still, but most people I know that have grabbed it share it with a group so it’s easy to polish off in one sitting...and part of the value in flipping it is the bottle.  I’ve sold empties before in the $30-$50 range.

It’s absolutely good, just like any old-school Belgian or Firestone anniversary that has an extensive blend recipe.  It isn’t really beer in any normal sense being still, super high ABV, and fairly sherry/port adjacent on the palate.  $240 would get you a bunch of amazing beers or an excellent bottle of liquor though…

100% very good “beer”, but you can do a lot better with your $240 on a bunch of beers or even an excellent whiskey/bourbon.

This is nothing like even high-end, high ABV stouts, it’s much more like a beer adjacent port or aperitif.  It’s very very good, but I’d rather have 7 Fremont stouts or an excellent whiskey at the price point.  Back when it was under $200/bottle, it was a fun group splurge to say you’ve tried it.
