This is what you people don’t get - his reactions to the accusations disqualify him for the position he seeks. You don’t bring up the fucking Clintons with tears streaming down your face if you are going to sit on the supreme court.

This isn’t a criminal trial and they aren’t determining his guilt, it’s deeming his worthiness of the highest lifetime appointment.  

And Merrick Garland was never heard despite having excellent qualifications. He has a reason to be a bit angry as well. 

Dr Blasey Ford was calm, polite and collected while talking about a trauma that has affected her for her entire life and facing the fact that her assaulter likely will be on the Supreme Court and making decisions for millions. Yet her testimony was riveting and ten times more believable than Kavanaugh’s. 

Not really. Part of the story is his own behavior while being questioned. That’s the point of the SNL piece: he’s a vindictive hothead with a chip on his shoulder.

Well, he’s already clearly guilty of lying multiple times under oath, as well as not having the composure a Supreme Court Justice needs, so maybe it’s time to pick another partisan Republican-backed candidate anyway?

He was a Republican operative who spent years trying to find dirt on the Clintons.  Don’t pretend his service was for the public.

Neil Gorsuch didn’t have any of this happen and that seemed to be a much more contentious substitution that this one on the face of it (this time around, a judge chose the time of his departure as opposed to all the circumstances surrounding the previous vacancy).
