Yup- we already know from his first term that he doesn’t care what kind of messed up stuff his hangers on want to do if they stroke his ego and do what he wants too. We already saw that with abortion. The fact that people are taking him saying he has nothing to do with it as some sort of guarantee are just nuts. The…

Cannot argue; read this just this morning:
The scope is a little off: By sending unrestricted checks to the states, that money can and will go into the pile of state funds that will go to voucher religious schools, thus sending federal taxpayer dollars directly to tax-free unaccountable religious “schools”. Instead of fixing that bridge, you’ll be paying to…
The bigger question what ISN’T horrible in Project 2025?
Vote. Vote like you’d like the opportunity to vote again in 2028.
““And everybody knows what’s going on in this country with fentanyl and child trafficking and rape. Terrible stuff.””
Ah yes, those child traffickers who famously return children to their homes safely.
This example needs more stars.
Did the driver of the ATV not injure himself? I mean, he chose to ride his vehicle without safety gear, at speeds too fast for conditions, in an area he wasn’t supposed to be. And then he crashed his own vehicle at a high rate of speed into a stationary object of greater mass. Seems like driver error to me.
Nah, bro. There are times when the cops should be skewered for their actions.
Just a few days ago, up in Albany, some moron driving an ATV on a pedestrian path hit a student, and now she’s in the hospital in a coma with a TBI. Alexa Kropf, University at Albany student from Floral Park, in medically induced coma after hit-and-run - Newsday
I’m guessing the ATV guy planned on blowing past the cruiser and was not expecting to be cut off. It is clear he did not plan on stopping and I am fine with what happened here.
It’s unfortunate the rider got seriously injured, but I really fail to see what the cop should have done differently except perhaps block the path a little sooner. On the flip side the rider could have:
You watch the tape and that self-centered jackass is really booking down the path. If he struck a pedestrian from behind at that speed, that person would be at least as injured as jackass ended up but he wouldn’t be scathed much due to the ATV taking most of the impact.
One was not an active threat to anyone, the other is a guy riding a vehicle that weighs a few hundred pounds at 30+ miles per hour on a path meant for pedestrians lol
I am failing to see how the cop did not do *exactly* the right thing here. If moron was going too fast to stop in time to not hit a very plainly visible cop car, he was going too fast to not hit a pedestrian. Not like he came around a blind corner and there was the cop.
Two parties in the wrong you say?
If you were going too fast to avoid a stopped car, you were going too fast to avoid a pedestrian. I’m good with this one.
I’m normally on the ACAB side, but I’m really struggling to be displeased with what the cop did here.
