The problem with EV charging is you have almost no idea how long it will take. Whereas with a gas station, your max filling time is probably 10 min. per car. But really closer to 5 min per car. If we were even at 20% new cars as EV sales, public charging would be an absolute nightmare.

My wife calls it “early 2020s Grey”.  She figures in 10 years, people will know what year your car is just by seeing that color.  Just like if you see a Teal car, you know it’s early 90s.

EVs will cost the same as ICE cars, because automakers plan to really gouge on the cost of the latter. Prices go up, never down.

My assumption as well. One will get subsidized and the other will get penalized. Unless we get some downward pressure on EV pricing from crappy Chinese EVs, I don’t see anything going down.
