I got LASIK about 20 years ago. I thought they did a good job of explaining the risks, even warning me that because of my light blue-grey eyes, I would likely experience some halo effect at night. That happens because the pupil dilates and let is light outside of the treated area of the cornea.

Sure, it flies fine.
