Can’t please everyone. 

Any beach that has other people on it is going to make it suck, because people are rude and inconsiderate. There will inevitably be some asshole blasting music no one else wants to hear. There will be people smoking and throwing their butts in the sand around them. There will be people who don’t contain their trash…

The placement is fine. The decision to just say slap a door there and not try to make it part of a symmetrical design element is what I question.
