I keep this in mind with my niece when I see her and talk to her. She’s very much a pink and sparkles girly girl - which is totally fine - so I try to compliment her on things that aren’t a reinforcement of the appearance expectation - her creativity, her cleverness, how hard she works on her dance routines, etc. 

50/50 is my preferred ratio.

I personally stopped around 13 or 14, switching to handing candy out.

I recently tried oat milk in my latte from Starbucks (I’m also severely lactose intolerant) and was surprised with how creamy it felt and tasted. I wonder if that would hold up in something like a soup.

Oat milk is a really good alternative for dairy in coffee and lattes. It’s got a very creamy feel and taste. 

This deserves astern warning.

I had room in my kitchen design for a stand mixer shelf that’s on a spring loaded mechanism and lifts out of a lower cabinet. I’m so glad I did it. If you’re ever doing a reno have have room, go for it. 

A good way to have the best of both worlds - we have a small bottle with one those liquor dispenser spouts on the counter for ease of use. When it’s empty, we just clean it and refill it. 

I have no issues with it being an option for the people who want it, but it’s not something I want. If it were the only option, it’s almost certain I wouldn’t buy that vehicle. Not that I’d even consider buying this specific one. 

I’m surprising myself by saying this, but I think this sounds tasty. 

This is why ‘infortainment’ should just be for audio media/communication and navigation. Keep the climate controls separate.

I’m a practical guy and have wished I was able to find the Prius appealing, but it’s just so homely looking and the centered driver’s display is an absolute deal breaker for me.
