who peed in your cheerios this morning?
I just bought a new Outback for practical reasons but I kinda want to get it dirty. Is there room for me to sit at the big kids table or am I going to be better off not even bothering?
It has been 95F for the last week here in NC and so relief in sight in the forecast. I refuse to believe your snow claims
I think what you’ll see is that the labor cost of driving the vehicles - at least partially - gets transferred to other areas of fleet O&M. In other words, one job lost driving the vehicle 8 hours a day but 1/x job gained for people to jockey the fleet around a depot / refueling station / maintenance facility.
the trick is not to ask, it’s just to sit down on top of the lady and/or the bag.
They were well balanced for the time and you could get some pretty amazing interiors at the top trim line. I think it’s as close as you’re going to get
This car exists:
HERE COMES TEH WAGON HATE ;-)
I’ve carried one on my key ring since 1999 and never had a problem anywhere. Airport security to County Courthouse.

You can get a 2.0 turbo in the Forester. It’s fun enough
I bought a new Outback over the weekend. It took me a month of searching / haggling with countless dealers and a 400 mile trip to pickup a BASE MODEL (in black) at a price I was comfortable with.
Agreed on cash flow. This weekend we signed papers for 1.45% for 72 months with zero down for a $25k new car. We have cash in hand to pay the loan off at any time but at that rate it makes more sense for our particular financial situation to keep those funds elsewhere.
Many years ago I was spotted like this by an officer while driving in the fast lane on the interstate - (he was parked on left shoulder standing outside the car with radar). He pointed to me and another car to pull off to the side. I pulled over immediately onto the right shoulder - probably across about 4 or 5 lanes…
...further proof of how little effort it would take for this feature to be integrated by OEM
We regularly have commercial aircraft overhead flying to 2 different international airports, so i’m used to hearing all kinds of aircraft overhead. Recently witnessed two F16s (maybe?) fly overhead and they were louder by several factors than anything I’ve ever seen nearby.
