First time I ever drove a automobile was in a 1992 Truck.  Red.  4cyl, 4wd, 5spd.  I think the only optional extra on it was a tape deck.  Ahh memories.

I like this car quite a bit.  Just wish it had something closer to 230-240hp... it makes it a tough buy when comparing against GTI... Maybe I’m just used to higher HP cars and the thought of going lower isn’t appealing.

As Kayldera stated it’s a lease with 15,000 miles per year with all maintenance and insurance rolled into one payment. When you add it up I’m paying 42.40 more per month than I was paying on my Focus ST and separate insurance (Boston has ridiculous insurance rates... as my former insurance agent stated “your paying

Didn’t this thing have the worst side impact of any vehicle of a similar vintage?

My volvo subscription is over in a year.  If things are still the same w/ the markets I’m simply going to buy it.  It’ll be worth around 10k more than the buyout.  Maybe more.  Crazy times we live in.

5 or 6 years ago (the time melds together)... trip from Boston to Vermont (aka home). Normally it’s a 3:45 trip - with holiday traffic it’s typically 4.5-5 hours.

This.  Exactly this.

This has been one of the best seasons of racing in recent memory.  It’s become must watch.

Is it exciting?  Not particularly.  They weren’t designed for the excitable.  They were designed to traverse great distance in comfort.  It will still do that and will continue to do so for years in the future.  NP all the way.

Because when I decided to treat myself to a new car I was pretty much sold on a G70 2.0 AWD Prestige. I found my local “Genesis” Dealer which was nothing more than a Hyundai showroom where they tried to use Hyundai show room tactics while trying to sell me a nearly 50k car.

After the second time the sales person went

I like it. It’s a viable alternative to the GTI. I configured a SE GTI yesterday and with leather and the DSG it was 37,315 dollars. Autobahn with DSG is 40 grand... for a fucking GTI.

For another few thousand bucks I’ll take Honda reliability please and thank you.

He looks like a giant douche bag. I have an unnatural desire to knock that goddamn prop right off his head.

It was way back in 1994, two years before I got my license to drive. Dad had a Toyota Truck (not a taco, not a t-100, not a trundra. The TRUCK). Stick shift, 4 wheel drive.

He threw it in low range and had me drive all over the back field area so I could get used to shifting.

Couldn’t stall it if you tried Learned what

Go fuck yourself with a chainsaw.  How’s that for my leftist agenda?

I live in Boston and spend considerable amounts of time in NYC. I’ve never taken a yellow cab so I’ll keep my comments to my Boston experiences:

5% interest? In this economy? What a joke.

Oddly enough, it’s my current car. 2021 Volvo S60 T6 R-Design. There are a few things that annoy me but overall it’s a exquisite place to spend time.

The seats are unbelievably comfortable for me. I can do a 400-500 mile jaunt and climb out feeling perfectly fine. I drove from Boston to Brooklyn last Friday and due to

Solid pass from this small hot hatch enthusiast.  200 hp for 30k?  I think not.  Maybe the Integra will be the better bet?

Jesus H Christ! That escalated quickly!

BWAHAHAHAH.  Fucking fantastic.
