My grandfather had that exact same color combo.

Holy shit. I just looked at pricing again. $31,365 for an SE. Add in DSG and it’s pushing 33. That’s ridiculous. The affordable hot hatch is a thing of the past I suppose.

You know what angers me about the GTI and VW in general? The packaging.

My Focus ST has been a fucking nightmare. 3 transmissions, wiring harness, corrosion, random battery issues, etc etc etc. Biggest piece of shit I’ve ever owned. My VW’s were rock solid by comparison.

But you can get a CPO A3 with under 10k on it for the price of a new GTI. I have a tough time paying 40 grand for a car... any car. I love the R but it’s just really expensive.

Gimme a 2 series BMW or an Audi A3 thanks.

Wow. That’s pretty incredible considering my Focus ST has been tested to 154mph (not with me behind the wheel).

What in the name of christ is this mess?  It’s shocking.

You’re a knob all right...

According to the Denver Post it was 535 million all up front but the article is from 2012 so who knows what the real number is in 2018

I’m from Boston - Home of the Big Dig. I get that money for public infrastructure is attached to so much more than the project but without spending the money we are dooming ourselves to life in cars.

Honestly why the fuck do they car what happens in Tennessee? Easy. It’ll affect their bottom line negatively. That’s it.

Stop it. Just stop it. We need public transit. Now. We need working trains, lite rail, and transportation that everyone can afford.

A couple of more assholes who should be dragged out to the middle of the road and run over by steamrollers.

I’m seeing more and more of the Stelvios... maybe it’s just this area but i’m also seeing a fair number of Guilias.

Gotta go with the JAAAAAAGGGGGGG.

*starts looking at airfare to Atlanta*

So long as he hits the wall sans HANS I’m all for it.

Except that the damn thing costs 40,000. FOURTY - THOUSAND - DOLLARS.
