Pisses me off every time I drive mine.

Muahaha. Made my laugh on a truly shittastic day. Thanks

Just thinking about the 4 hour trip from Boston to BTV and the autopilot makes me a happy little duckie. Don’t get me wrong, I love to drive (current ride is Focus ST) but that ride back home is ... at this point... boring as hell.

Absolutely, but the screen is going to be there regardless so by integrating all the functions into that one screen there is a cost savings.

But given how sparse the interior is and how much less material is needed (bezel surrounds, black piano finish plastics, HVAC Controls, Radio Controls etc etc I’m guessing that all that saved money allows them to use better materials than you think.

Wow, this is fantastic. Bravo sir, bravo!

Has jeep done away with the golf putter shifter? This one looks to have an honest to goodness lever.

Simple, easy to read, round gauges. Perfection. Also, I happen to think that the shift lever in late 80's & early 90's Hondas is amongst the best looking the world has ever seen.

I’ve never valeted a car. Not once. Ever. F these guys.

She says that, of course, but when Jerry delivers the car in Fargo it is described as the proper factory color “burnt umber”

Technically speaking, the Cierra was “burnt umber”

... at least the fucking gauges were decent. Not like the abomination that resides in the ATS and now this thing.

I still don’t understand the CVT choice when a old fashioned torque converter and gears works just fine. The gain in efficiency is negligible in real world driving. It’s not a performance buyers choice. So what, exactly, is the motivation for stuffing these POS’s in cars?

I drove one when they first came out courtesy of the Saab Drive event at the New England Car Show (aka Boston). They let me out without anyone tagging along. I should take this opportunity to apologize to anyone who might at witnessed me that afternoon.

Damn! All that’s missing is a box truck full of strike-anywhere matches!

It’s worth noting, that while legal, driving on a lake is incredibly stupid, even in the frigid environs of Northern Vermont. I grew up there and never, ever, put my vehicle on the ice.

Wonderfully written.

YES YES YES. I can’t STAND the ATS dash. Right out of a friggen Pontiac Sunfire.

Why oh why can’t I get these optioned into the US RS? They look fantastic!

TIRES TIRES TIRES TIRES. Goddamn it. Put on some fucking snow tires if you live in the snow belt.
