Are you sure you didn’t find this info here?

Exactly - I was just saying that if you’re up to the stock airbox in water in your XJ, no snorkel in the world is going to save you.

The truck also seems to have an inboard braking system; that disc in the middle of the rear axle looks like a brake. That allows for more flexibility on wheel selection and less unsprung weight, not that that matters much when you’re running tractor tires the size of golf carts at each corner.

That wet floor sign is killing me

donks and bro trucks have their day!

Oh my goodness! I own 8 cars. All paid for. Some hobby cars, but buying 10 years old with low miles will give you a 75% discount. Go look up a 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT8.

“The cost of your car shouldn’t exceed 10% of your anual income.”

this is 100% correct. I make $100K a year and I cant afford a new car. I only buy and drive used. But then I also understand that paying more than 25% of my take home income on my mortgage/rent is also stupid so I live in a modest home as well.

Is that annually? If so, that doesn’t seem too crazy. That would mean someone with a $50K job could afford to buy a $5K car each year, or have a new car with $400/mo of payments. Sounds about right.

That advice seems totally unrealistic and not helpful if everyone dismisses it. I think you can manage your finances and still get a nice car.

It doesn’t really even need more power, the car is plenty fast enough (the RS, with 50 more HP, is no faster). It just needs to not have a fuel economy to power ratio that was barely acceptable in 2004 when the engine debuted, forget 2017. A GT-R makes nearly twice as much HP for the same fuel economy, and many, many

Hold your tongue, it’s just as gorgeous as this 1995 Chevy Cavalier convertible in econobox red.

i would not use “absolutely gorgeous” to describe a 90-93 celica... sorry
