Spiders on trampolines?
I didn’t start playing it until December after it had seen multiple patches, and while I have encountered various glitches (from relatively minor to some fairly serious ones) and still do to this day (I’m just at the end of Act 2 now), all in all I’ve been extremely pleased with the experience. Perhaps the (well…

Zell and the Hot Dogs 4EVA
holy shit, no it’s not. It’s a NOTHING story. Rinoa is dating Seifer at the start of the game! Then she’s not! Squall basically says “whatever” to her for two discs, and then, uh, love? I guess?
Didn’t even think Squall/Riona was the best romance in FVIII.
Man, I had no interest in Squall and Rinoa’s “love” story. Squall just never was an interesting character to me. His transition from brooding dickhead to still-brooding-dickhead-but-now-admits-he-loves-Rinoa had no real arc to it. Didn’t help that the game spoon-fed you the idea from the very box art that this Final…
I mean sure, if you ignore the love stories of Tidus and Yuna, Zidane and Garnet, Cloud and Tifa, Locke and Celes, and Zell and Hotdogs, then yeah, Squall and Rinoa clearly have the best love story.
I don’t know. I like the stuff between Squall and Rinoa and the stuff between Laguna and Julia separately, but when it’s taken into greater context of both of them, it’s kind of a weird story to me. Because the game isn’t just about Squall and Rinoa, it’s also about Laguna and Julia and their children finally hooking…
Disagree. Yuna and Tidus take it for me and I’m even one of the few fans of VIII.
Persona 2 most likely being another remaster with QoL updates and not a full remake is kind of disappointing. Mainly because despite them being my favorite games in the series, there are some really outdated things regarding combat, negotiations and Persona acquisition. And quality of life upgrades are always nice,…
The switch 2 rumors will stop, but then the Switch 2 Pro and Switch 3 rumors will start.
The only justifiable reason for taking a console/format war seriously is if your paycheck literally depends on it.
Oh hey, it’s today’s reminder that fandom is inherently toxic.
“I was wrong all of this time, Xbox doesn’t care about us, Microsoft doesn’t care about us. We’ve been fighting this war for nothing.”
I know someone who IS Junpei. He looks like Junpei. He talks like Junpei. When the original came out, I was impressed that they had put my friend into the game in all his weird glory.
It tickles me how half the cast is rated lower than a dog, but I totally get it. I’d die for Koromaru.
Alloy Kit Sturdy starring Sturdy Serpent
One thousand games come out every year. Let us have something truly weird and visionary. “Artsy” as you put it. We need it.
I really disagree, I think there should be places in the industry for artistic expression and experimentation. Not everything has to be a cookie-cutter gameplay experience. While yeah Death Stranding wasn’t for me for the most part I appreciate the effort to try new things and I think we should encourage more of that…
