Same here. I tried turning off the bloom effect which helped a little, but not nearly enough. It feels like the sprites should be more detailed, like FF Tactics or Breath of Fire IV level, not RPG Maker level.

I’d see Nintendo buying Capcom first, since they’ve had a close relationship for decades and Capcom still makes exclusive games for them (MH Rise and Storiesbon Switch, all the way back to the Capcom Five on Gamecube). I see a lot more design philosophy overlap with Nintendo than with Sony too.
