I think a big part of the issue at heart here is the tension between a cultural touchstone like this being important as a foundational work and watching it out of its context. For example, I understand and respect 2001: A Space Odyssey as an important work of cinema, but I do not enjoy watching it. Same with Blade

Having recently struggled through the first 1/3 of that game, I'd argue that they need to rework the camera and environments. Some cities and dungeons are just a nightmare to navigate, as this was still the era when they were figuring out the rules of 3d. (Breath of Fire IV has similar issues)

Nope, I’ve only been a devoted fan of Square’s work for 25 years, played nearly every FF and KH game, and watched as their creative processes and ability to hit deadlines tanked over the past decade, while Nomura’s rise to prominence coincides with a push for spectacle over coherent plot and character development. I

Director: “We want you to feel like this amazing story is happening in the actual Serengeti! Like you’re really there! It’s just magical.”
*Can You Feel the Love Tonight starts playing*
*uncomfortably realistic lion sex scene for the entirety of the song*

In that original shitty commenter’s post saying that each should only take five minutes, giving them the absolute benefit of the doubt would translate that to “I’m sure that Game Freak, a skilled and experienced developer, has the pipeline developed that could take a lower poly 3ds model meant only for a tiny screen

YEAH

Thanks! Sure, here’s what we used:

My wife and I closed on our first house about a week ago here in Minneapolis, and our best advice would be to do your research and find your advocates.

At least the ring menus are a fairly clever attempt at streamlining JRPG menus for co-op play, which is an admirable goal. There is zero benefit to SD3's overabundance of menus.

There are what, like three different menus in this game? None of which make logical sense in a JRPG, and all of which could have been much more functional and user friendly as a FF style list. Instead, the “main” menu is a grid-based abomination of UI / UX, in which each of the 9 sub-screens has a different

Man, I think this game looks old. Like 360 / PS3 old. Not in the environments or the particle effects or anything technical, but more in the game design and art design, especially since its art design is so bland. I wish it could have leaned a little bit into the comic book nature of the whole thing and maybe stylized

I know it’s hard to believe, but actually she’s quite capable in KH2, having a sense of independence and agency that made her really admirable when she takes charge of her own storyline. By the time she gets her own keyblade at the end of the game, it feels earned.

Of course she did, because birth is a miracle that transcends all else in life, and because it gives her nine solid months to lord that fact over everyone in the vicinity. Much harder to gain that sense of authority through adoption, and far more paperwork.

Maybe if these shitbags love babies so much, they should focus some of this abundant energy and free time on the fact that adoption in the US is an insane and wildly expensive process? If they want all of these extra babies to be born, they should really look into streamlining adoption and improving the abysmal

I’d love for it to be co-op or have the ability to swap characters to use different skillsets. But if not, I could also imagine that it could be great to be traveling with Zelda as a constant companion, similar to Midna or the girl from that Prince of Persia reboot a few years ago. She’d still give a voice to the

I understand your points, and I get that those are important to you. However, you have to understand that the proportion of players bringing that kind of history and specificity along with them, while that’s a very crucial piece of information for their purchase, is probably very small within the community. How many

This might not be a popular opinion, but I’m actually completely okay with this decision and understand the situation that they’re in. It sounds shocking to hear the limitation at first, but I think the idea of focusing on a curated and higher quality selection makes sense, especially now that we’re approaching 1000

Tell that to rom coms.

Correction: they sat on KH3 and shit out half a dozen spinoffs while spinning their wheels, until KH3 cane out a decade later than it should have and felt every bit its age. Nothing in KH3 needed to wait that long to simmer - certainly not the paper thin plot.

A vocal minority of players: “Man, Breath of the Wild is soooo overrated...all I wanted was classic Zelda dungeons and -”
Nintendo: “HERE’S A SEQUEL THAT’S ALLLLLLL DUNGEON, MOTHERFUCKERS. IT’S DARK, DUNGEONY, AND HERE TO KICK YOUR ASS. DO YOU HEAR THOSE BACKWARDS CHANTS? DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE DARKNESS IS COOKING?
