I will agree with you on one point though.... we need to stop trying to make Taylor K happen... I loved Friday Night Lights and Tim Riggins as much as anyone, all time great show/character... but it’s beyond clear that the actor had the perfect role on the perfect show and caught lighting in a bottle.

I think the problem is it’s being compared to season 1 (which reached heights that only a handful of shows have ever reached).. instead of being compared to, well, every other show on television right now. Admittedly it’s a slow time for prestige TV, but True Detective is the best option right now, and I’m grateful…
