I don’t think the average audience knows who Andy is. So he’d be the worst pick for this type of thing, lol.

Hold on wait... Are you saying when more “diverse” people are involved in the creative process... they end up with more diverse results? B-but wait... Video games are products with target audiences, right? Are you trying to tell me that other people than me, have money and therefore are also part of that target?
There’s tons of pokemon clones with more mature themes/stories out there now. I’m just not quite sure why they haven’t gotten any attention.
This is sort of similar to some of the balancing in modern fighting games.
I’m not a baseball fan, but I do think it’s actually very endearing when things that are meant for fans of something, actually goes above and beyond and gives new/old fans things to love and and learn about their favorite pastimes.
Yeah, but the military service we’re speaking of is not primarily combat oriented and includes things like office work and engineering, same as any other military. S. Korea is already pretty right wing too, unless you know something I don’t, I don’t think they are getting more or less of that in active duty or not.
How so?
Idk if I agree with this phenom being “rare” though. Before films were the go-to accessible outlet, there were all sorts of book series with very long runs, some of which were due to publisher greed, rather than creative necessity.
How is going to prison not a punishment?
Racism being illogical isn’t a flaw, it’s a feature. So the only standard racists adhere to is being assholes. So criticizing them for lack of consistency/logic/justification/etc, doesn’t do much.
There’s probably over 100 AAA releases and 1k+ indies that release in a given year. I feel like the phenom your describing is very easy to avoid without any effort these days.
I think the problem here is that the “boring tedium crap” is something other people enjoy, which is why these games are able to maintain an audience in the first place.
They actually just did “pump up” Save the World with that Lego collab they launched last month. It’s basically just the survival mode they were originally going for, with a Lego skin over it, lol.
Part of me feels like they are trying to find a solution for some of the toxicity involved in the game that revolves around healing(or lack of). I know plenty of support players feel really stressed, not from the job of healing, but the aftermath from aggro teammates when things go wrong.
It was kind of in the shitter before that, to be honest, haha.
He just showed us it was possible to take it even lower!
Simulation of all sorts(entertainment, science, education), in the arts, particularly animation, AI can be used to generate textures and effects that would otherwise be incredibly monotonous for working artists to do themselves, I believe it’s already been used heavily for travel/navigation related stuff for quite…
If you can only comprehend games by surface level “era” milestones, rather than the unique pieces of art with distinct goals and challenges, I feel like you’re just not the target audience for a lot of games.
Hell yeah brother! Nothing beats the sheer quality and excellence of “normal animal with a funny name” “normal animal with arms” and the cream of the crop “inanimate object with eyes on it.” lol
Other jobs that are very likely the same amount of crunch, lack of resources and poor executive/publisher oversight.
Quite a few actually. It just depends one the type of game.
