Considering the sensibilities that kids have these days, it would be extremely difficult to try and recreate YCDTOTV today. The original series itself was very offbeat and bizarre and occasionally dark but it worked so well because of the timing and execution. I question whether anyone could try and duplicate it now.

A great part of Taken is that the movie doesn’t necessarily try to cram far too many things or details into its storyline. It lets the action speak for itself. It knows that the audience for the most part trusts the story and that they don’t necessarily have to hear every single detail.

It is totally understandable as to why people say esports are legit sports. I get that the games involved are very different from what we are used to but it is a challenge.

I was listening to Eric Burdon and the Animals’ the Twain Shall Meet recently. An impressive and freaky mix of blues and psychedelic rock.

I’m torn about whether or not esports should be seen as legit sports. They require plenty of strategy and agility and quick decision making but they’re just so outlandishly complicated (Overwatch being an exception; Blizzard knows how to make a game that is easy for people who aren’t knee deep into esports to enjoy).

Has anyone been playing the Madden Mobile game? I like the training feature but I haven’t seen the coach thing make much of an impact. At least not yet.
