Northern Ontario here. I always just use a bag of traction sand. Only downside is you have to keep the bag indoors, it clumps solid when it’s frozen.

Johnson. Times a billion.
Your choice of header image is perfect.
In the winter (because fuuuuuuuck running in snow) I add 5-10 minutes of hard interval cardio after my weight training, then just have the occasional hike or snowshoe on other days. In the summer, I run, hike or kayak on my rest days.
Was wondering this myself, I’ve never seen it in my part of Canada. Is this that high-quality Pittsburgh steel we’ve heard so much about?
Don Frye and Yoshihiru Akiyama would disagree with you.
I always preferred the Triple H method, where you either had the weak shot to the upper back, to get that big meaty thwack that doesn’t hurt... Or you put one hand on the end of the chair and “drive” it into their gut or forehead (and your hand takes the brunt), and then they fall back to sell it. There’s no goddamn…
But that’s $55,000 less than a MkIV Supra, apparently.
Marketing. Those who loved the first one will likely watch if they see the name.
Thank you for this, and thank you for laying out that there are different NEEDS for different fitness levels. I shoot for 180g a day because I’m currently lifting while maintaining weight. For anyone complaining that it’s too difficult to get this much protein in, here’s an example of protein for me, for a day:
A friend of a friend begins every Saturday morning breakfast by dumping an entire stick of butter an one pound of bacon into a pan. Fucking madness.

Good timing, as I’m just getting back under the bench after a shoulder injury. Also, kudos for the AthleanX youtube link, Jeff Cavalier is THE best fitness coach in the game. If you need to know why/how/when to do an exercise, watch his channel.
And let’s not exaggerate... Those six “knockouts” are TKOs because the ref eventually got bored watching Askrin pillow-fist a guy for 24 minutes.
“Perhaps “because it is there” is not sufficient reason for climbing a mountain.”
That’s a bit insulting to Lewis. His cardio is for shit, but the dude has a Mark Hunt-like ability to get back to his feet from off his back, and crafty striking for a heavyweight. And honestly, his cardio IS better than when he started.
Has anyone at Jezebel seen this yet?
I’d also humbly suggest the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, here in Canada. Half of the schedule is road courses, and includes two street courses at Trois-Rivieres and Toronto. The cars are also more badass, running on bias ply tires and fibreglass bodies, with proper 4 speeds. They slip/slide all over the place.
