I’m of two minds on things like this for Switch...on the one hand, great! Glad that even more gamers get to play excellent games. On the other hand, IMO, games like this, Doom, Wolfenstein, etc. really shine better on hardware that allows you to crank the graphics to 11. Especially for Doom. My God.

Which I always figured was the point; you either get content for free but watch ads or you pay for it. Always made perfect sense. Surprised so many people complain about it. It’s not like Hulu’s pay-but-still-watch-ads plan.

Idunno. I watch a lot of YouTube; it’s probably my prime source of entertainment. So $10/mo to not watch ads seemed like a worthwhile expense.

I’m betting most of us that sub to YTR do so to turn off ads.
