Because winning your conference wasn’t (and currently isn’t) a requirement for making the 2011 BCS National Championship? And if we’re going to say it should be, and I agree it should be, then every conference has to have the same number of teams and have a conference championship game.

Well, that’s an entirely different can of worms. IMO if we want an 8+ team playoff with conference champions getting automatic bids, then every conference in FBS needs to have the requisite number of teams such that they have a conference game.

I was addressing your point wherein you mentioned the Fiesta Bowl from last season.

You’re aware the Big XII didn’t have a conference championship game in 2011, right?

WVU, Cincy, and Louisville were all co-champions because the conference only had eight teams, so no conference championship game.

Not very original. You can do better.

So are you going 10-2 WVU or 10-2 Cincinnati?

Well, the Big East Conference is gone, so.

Which six conferences?

You’re about 12 hours too late for Roy Moore jokes. Also, you know he lost to Doug Jones, right?

I mean, is that a problem? Let’s be honest: UCF had a great season, but if there are four undefeated teams from any of those five conferences, an undefeated AAC champion gets left out 100% of the time. The conferences are not created equal.

Who should’ve gone in 2011?

Except we just won our Semifinal game?

K

I respect the geographic knowledge, but no, went to UA.

You feeling okay?

Well, if I currently still lived in Alabama I would’ve voted for Jones, so… you know Doug won, right?

K

Well, we’ll see, won’t we?
