I do graphic design professionally (both at my full-time job and freelancing on the side) and I use a MacBook Pro at home (I hook it up to an external when at home but I like being able to take it with me to a photoshoot or things like that) and at work I opted for the late-2014 5K iMac.

The built in screen is pretty damn phenomenal and it’s not like you couldn’t add an external or two.
