Pretty typical for older Grand Cherokees and XJs. They’re not familiar with jeeps going by the hashtags, they kinda hurt my brain...

This is why if you see a new wrangler that someone dumped the catalogue on you can assure yourself that its a mall crawler. You WILL break something every time you go in the woods, and most people don’t want to break their 40k daily driver...
Just because you think its a 3K car doesn’t mean it is. According to the current market a running CJ-8 with a solid frame is a NP at 8K. Actually its a steal. Who care’s if you have to replace the tub, that’s a given with jeeps of this vintage.
It doesn’t matter. CJs are getting to be like international scouts. As long as the frame is good and its running with the majority of its original pieces a CJ will pull quite a bit of money. 8K for a running CJ8 is reasonable.
The issue is you picked a 26 (at a minimum) year old foxbody that has obviously seen some attention judging by its rust free nature, intact original paint, newish? top, and decent wheel choice (imho he should have gone 5lug). Just that its still in good working order means its seen regular maintenance at this point.…
Without BOP one of the two was designed from the start as a race car, weighs 2600, has a carbon fiber tub, and makes 600hp. It isn’t the corvette.
It can’t be lightweight and have any range. Welcome to EVs, the energy density is significantly lower than gasoline so the have to haul around hundreds of pounds in batteries. For reference the Model S’s battery pack is 1200lbs.
And this time they’re full of shit. Its physics the battery stores X amount of energy and it requires Y amount to launch the car to 60mph. Porche won’t have a significantly larger battery and it wont require less energy to launch it so they might make 2.5 launches before they need a charge.
Very few people “fight in cyber space” or pilot drones. The majority are either combat arms (infantry/armor/artillery) or are sustaining the combat arms. Both of which tend to be dangerous, physically demanding roles that far fewer women will qualify for than men (the injury rates for women in marine infantry training…
Meth’s a hell of a drug.
Is this your last article? Because reliant robin as the last jalopnik article would be suitably jalop.
Look up how simple the new 6.2 and 5.3 are with direct injection, Cam in cam, AFM, and all their ensuing recalls then get back to me about their “reliability”.
You can’t quote 2011 stats when talking about a cherokee...
The Trinity makes more power than any GM V8, the Vodoo makes more than any N/A LS or LT, the 2000R made more power than the LS6, the Boss motor made more power than the LS3, the Terminator made more power than the LS2 (in reality), need I go on?
Just because it stops working doesn’t mean that’s what BMW intended...
Hold on, you complain about the odd paint hotwheels scheme on the corvette then wax about the ugliest 90's-est Subaru? The corvette scheme was at least complimentary.
And now I’m looking them up on racing junk.
I have always been under the impression it was like the DEW98-S197 relationship. Similar uni-body but with different suspension mounting points
Judging by sales you are in the minority.
Actually pretty common. Not much legal hunting so the deer are massive and the training areas are huge so the odds of being seen much less caught at night are slim.
