Ford Edge. I am late to the party but hear me out.
Compared to a steering box? Hell yes.
Watched an old timer take his pinto rally car out for a cruise the other morning. Once you see it in that guise, it occurs to you that its a very lightweight rear will drive car with a responsive suspension (compared to the original mustang).
Yeah I don’t get this at all either... Ford isn’t good about commonality for the most part, but their RWD drive trains can pretty much be bolted together from 1994 to now. You can literally find a dozen boxes in you local pick a part that would have worked with less hassle.
X2 The horsepower numbers might close, but the 5.4 with a supercharger had more a torque plateau than curve and the truck it was attached too was a good deal smaller than a modern f-150.
Please don’t try left lane camping outside of California. That doesn’t go over so well in states where the speed limit is understood to be more a suggestion, hell doing the limit in the left lane would get you rammed around Atlanta...
Briefly did the family of four with a Mazda3 hatch. Nopity nopity nope. I believe nonkid people are greatly underestimating what a giant pain in the ass modern car seats are and how little room there is for the massive amount of stuff kids come with. Traded the Mazda 3 in for a Ford Edge and life got much better.
It was a good Corvette year as well. First year of the L98 plus the Z51 package made the corvette a legitimate sports car again. They’re still a good track day car for cheap.
Plot twist... what if they pursued a licensing agreement with the Comanche Tribe?
This one is just stupid honestly. I’m from Kentucky, they’re both extremely wealthy with likely a private staff that could handle this. I know she brought in friends/former staffers as appointees and they would normally have done that kind of work before her appointment. She probably never realized that once they…
To be fair, this is smells like a definite “new guy gets the slideshow” situation. I’m sure none of the writers want it and now that they’re union shit jobs go by seniority.
Came to read the comments... not clicking that next button.
I don’t have a super high opinion of the raptor, I want a lightning dammit, but the “R” does have significance and history with ford’s SVT program. SVT is deceased and its likely a shameless marketing exercise but yeah the R meant something.
Its a call back to SVT vehicles. The Cobra R’s were turnkey race cars (The 95R required a competition license) and Ford probably wants to imply the same here although I don’t think there is an SCCA style organization for mall crawlers. Now they just need to drop the Shelby nonsense and go back to cobra...
Practically begging for a 302 swap or 1JZ. Yes you read that correctly, it should stay period correct.
I applaud their enthusiasm but I haven’t read anything about transportation being the bottleneck for the vaccination effort. At this point getting the right people at the right time to the vaccine is the real problem.
It depends, if one is a AGM and the other isn’t than the expensive battery is significantly better. If lasting 3x longer is worth the cost is up to you. If they’re both plain old flooded, you paid for slightly better QC but they’re largely made of the same materials, so you got robbed.

If you really want like for like, Tesla still doesn’t do well. JLR, the sick man of the luxury market, sold 500k vehicles in 2019 and 2020. BMW, who Tesla was initially compared to did 2,000,000. This all per Statistica, since you probably don’t have an account here is a decent cleantech article (not that they’re…
