There isn’t any point. Thats why I just focus on paying my stuff off on time and check the report periodically to make sure nothing is on there that isn’t from me.
So, I do my annual credit score each year around this time (tax season and all...good time to check into finances). I get it from each of the three providers, have for years, and I always know where my score it.

A realization that the only way we can afford to fix our highways and bridges is to raise the gas tax, with the repairs paid for by the users of said roads and bridges. And a way for electric vehicles to pay a fair share as well.
If a manufacture did decide to start lowering their fuel economy standards that would certainly be a competitive disadvantage against the manufacturers that chose to continue to press on and get better fuel economy.
