For the record, I was much more star-struck by Jim Jarmusch, and still cherish those memories!

I worked on Dead Man, which Johnny Depp starred in. I was a lowly PA, and he held the door open for me when my hands were full. I was so star-struck! When my kids came to visit me he danced with my two year-old and played drums with him. I spoke on the phone with Kate Moss when she called to talk to him.

I have to know your workout regime because apparently every blind person, besides having excellent swordsman/martial arts skills, is ripped.

Hey, I’ve seen that Rutger Hauer movie and my understanding is that blind folks are basically samurai...

I listened to a podcast with a legally blind doctor talking about Bird Box ... I learned a few things.

If the name Joe Dante is on it, it’s pretty good.

Good to have a reminder what an unfortunate failure Masters of Horror was.

She never actually played a gig or recorded anything with them, but, during her brief tenure, she did call herself Dottie Danger, so that’s pretty cool.

take your star, dammit. the breakdown in Heaven on Earth is a great work of 80's studio mixing. Thanks for getting it stuck in my head.

That is the most Patrick Bateman-esque comment I have seen in a long time. Do you have a business card?

I recently learned Belinda Carlisle was the original drummer for the Germs.

Which is why the spouse should scoop the litter box while the wife is pregnant. Problem solved!

While this is a fair point, putting it like that still comes across as a really shitty way to convey the sentiment.
If it had been a case of “We talked it over and this isn’t easy for us, but we feel like this may be the best option”, that’d be one thing. Putting it the above-referenced way makes the cat sound like an

Psychopath.

So true, I mean, it’s so SO difficult to clean regularly, daily, like, I dunno, a tidy human being who has cats. (Now THAT’S sarcasm).

That’s really only if you’re going to be changing the litter, simply being in the same house with it won’t hurt anyone. Her not cleaning the litter for 9 months is a solid solution (and frankly I kinda doubt she was changing the litter in the first place).

Then you’re a dumbass.

I’ve been enjoying these reviews so far and there’s plenty of good observation in them, but I could not disagree more with that paragraph about Jamie and Dani. it’s a gorgeously rendered romance, my favourite on TV in a long long time, and there is clear chemistry between the actors. (we really didn’t need Carla
