Also, I’m just gonna say that the Ghost storyline really got me. 

It’s my favorite too. It helps that there’s a smaller cast and the stakes are actually stakes. And Luis gets me every time.

I hated the way it was written. I found it to be really condescending. “Oh, those ladies and their gossip!”

This is very funny. My partner is a wannabe Big Famous Writer, and I’ve suggested interesting books by women writers to him a bazillion times, but I get ignored. Either that, or “But I read (one woman writer)!” The whole vibe is very much But I Want To Read Important Fiction.

Just played this through for the first time last night (based on this post, and going “Hey, I’ve heard of that, didn’t know it was available for the Switch,”) and...wow, you weren’t kidding. It was fantastic — I’m still thinking about it.

So interesting. My sis-in-law is full-on Q at this point. She’s always been New Age/woo (Art Bell, aliens, psychics, you name it), and I feel like that led to it.
