I know I’m in the minority, but I like Affleck in the role and would be bummed to see him go. Unless they decide to make the stand alone Batman movie a “Batman Year One” style prequel and want to cast someone as the young Batman and let Affleck continue the role in future Justice League movies.

I love that people have spent the last ten years “predicting” the end of the superhero popularity.

It’s a shame that these movies are such a dismal mess, because Affleck is one of the better things about them. He’d be great in a cool, $50 million Batman movie that focused on crime solving rather than constant big action set pieces.

If this movie is what passes as “scary” these days then I’m glad my wife and I don’t get to go out to as many movies as we used to. I will give credit where credit is due, Hereditary was a slow suspenseful burn through the first and second acts but it all fell apart during the final act of the film. There were clues…
