He literally, purposefully, gave him rounds and two oh the of three judges said nuh-uh. Boxing promoters and shitty scoring system have crippled the sport for decades.

I suppose it’s because boxing hasn’t had a stern refusal to change for decades (hence its decline). Most ardent fans can’t even explain very well what constitutes a 10-8 round, so I don’t know a good answer.
