I’ve got another idea: A “penalty box” for when a player fucks up. Like a plexiglass booth that the player has to sit in the rest of the possession that’s right in front of recliner-ville and the fans get to throw whatever they want at them. The fans get to vent, and the stadium benefits when the fans need to replace

“chandalier of football fans” I LOLd IRL

Yeah, that was a hit a kid in the dick move.

There’s an obvious solution to the field size problem: Get rid of that non-money making Skycam and attach a seating rig to it instead! Problem solved! Plus, it saves you a trip to Great America.

Wasn’t this about the time he recorded with Bowie on Let’s Dance?

Saw Moz many years ago and have never, ever heard so many of the audience singing along to a song more than this one.  It was pretty epic to hear about 20,000 people all singing this together.

The real miracle here?  Maddy didn’t break his hand and miss the rest of the season and half of next.

Yeah, Hunter looked ready to ruuuummmmblllllle!

Well, the driver IS white, so....

It’s certainly not a badly acted film, I agree. I just found the gratuitous and psychotically gleeful violence too much to take. When it’s done as, say, satire like American Psycho, it has something to say about status and class and materialism and its intersection with psychosis. But NC just seemed to introduce

Aww, I liked Welcome to Me and had no idea it was even on Netflix (well, now it isn’t!) Would have watched it again. Netflix’s menu browser system sure blows rancid chunks!

Jeez, what am I missing? I nearly fell asleep during this movie. It was all just so rote, I was waiting for it to end. Mission Impossible: Fallout? More like Mission Intolerable: Fall Asleep.

TBH I found MI:F rather dull. Too many people going after too many things, and the stakes for the action setpieces are seldom made clear.  I was fairly bored by the whole thing and was checking my watch more than usual.  It seemed like it couldn’t quite decide if it wanted to be John Wick or Fast&Furious 9: Even More

Sooo glad I didn’t see this on a plane! You would have been reading here about a plane’s emergency landing due to an unruly, inconsolably sobbing passenger!

Indeed she did. I was shocked at how much I loved this movie. I watched it three night in a row and I don’t think I’ve ever done that with ANY film! It’s a perfect mix of unforced drama from everyday situations and gorgeous film-making technique (was all shot on film and looked fantastic).  Every line feels real and

That scene fucking destroyed me. :-(  I still can’t believe she was 6 years old when this was made.

Two that spring to mind are Brooklynn Prince as Moonee in The Florida Project. I was beyond shocked to discover that she was only 6 years old when she made the film. I cried my eyes out at the end of that movie, and yet I watched it 3 days in a row when I first saw it. She’s totally going to become her mother, which

Sounds about right for Portland.

This fraud shit is getting real old....

Brutal, but a lot of truth here.  We’re headed for “Uncivil War.”  People scoff at that idea, but what has 45 done that has been firmly rebuked?  That’s right, next to nothing.  With McConnell as his Himmler and Hannity as his Goebbels, he’s on a mad dash to destroy America from within.
