I’m sure it will take a while to formulate a cohesive response. After all, there’s only so many hours of intel available from watching Fox & Friends.
Yeah, the marketing of this film was just terrible! But of course, that will never be the reason for the box office failure, will it? I wasn’t familiar with the source material, am kinda tired of ScarJo, too, and even all the extended trailer scenes did little to whet my appetite for the film. Just another case of…
Yup.
I didn’t know Paul, but kinda feel punched in the gut over this news. Such a huge talent - absolutely one of my favorite artists. What a terrible loss to the art and gaming community. My heart goes out to his close friends and family at this difficult time. R.I.P. Paul.
Seems to be a variation on the phrase “Trump is what a poor person thinks a rich person is like, what a stupid person thinks a smart person is like, and what a weak man thinks a strong man is like.
You talk about this like citizens have a say in it. They do not.
I’m guessing he’s referring to the 2003 Ron Howard “The Missing” which I just happened to catch last night. Very mediocre movie, but Cate is extremely watchable in it, as usual. Terrible script, way too predictable, story points could not be more telegraphed (see what I did there?), and handy deus ex ending.
And funny! The man could land a joke with the best of them.
Yes. WH Corrospondants Dinner. You know, that thing TrumpleThinSkin won’t be attending.
Did I just hear John Turturro say “I am directly beneath the enemy scrotum”??? Now my life is complete.
This looks amazing and terrifying. It appears to have some similarities, at least on the dystopian, government-controlled surface, to one of my favorite shows, Colony. Yeah, I know, it’s aliens and whatnot so the social dynamic is obviously different, but the state of martial law depicted in the show is frighteningly…
Which is why we went with a Bosch! :-) It’s a little light on useful features, but is quiet AF!
Wow, seems that was an urban myth. It’s even on snopes, going back to early 2000s! I had no idea. It’s not really something i would think to verify, either, since so many corporations own various companies that it sounds completely believable. But there you have it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yup. Grew up in Toughskins (tm)! They weren’t really all that tough, though.
More recently we needed a new dishwasher, and I’d always had it in mind that one thing Sears still did well with was appliances. Wrong. There was one poorly trained, totally unknowledgeable employee in the whole appliance dept. Waited FOREVER…
“...but I respect that at least in this segment, they’re including the opinions of regular people with nothing to sell.”
C’mon, people, these aren’t slaves! They’re immigrants who came to America in search of better lives for themselves and their families! Try to think of them as “absentee employees.”
How did the cops in the Safeway lot know the video guys weren’t just pranking them or something? I mean, they point to a car and say, hey, that’s my car that’s been stolen and the cops stop and point guns at the guy who gets in and tries to drive away, and the cops just go along?
I think you forgot another choice: I was experiencing an unusual amount of first-world entitlement when I decided to write about a stupid airline food “incident.”
