I'm waiting for the whole "Hey, Look At What This Handful Of Reactives Said On Twitter!" era of news to fucking die.

Hickman's great if you have patience.

It's a really, really cool series. Didn't expect to dig it as much as I do. Thought it'd go full Batman rip-off, and it hasn't.

I'll second those, particularly #3.

Personally, I'd take anyone over Bendis. He's great when he's writing in his wheelhouse, but he insists on writing outside of it with increasing frequency.

They have one debuting soon, called Mosaic (IIRC).

Meh. I'll stick with Nighthawk, who is kicking ass and tackling socioeconomic issues in his solo book ::GASP:: without having to be re-branded as the new fucking Night Thrasher or somesuch.

Eh, it worked for me, given the circumstances and the fucked-up nature of the Imperial Order. The sixth book and beyond is where things really head downhill, and I wish I had that time back.

The "Sword of Truth" series. I read it through, and got to about five pages from the end of "Confessor," but still haven't bothered to finish the last five pages. It started out promising (if derivative), but turned to absolute shit after book 5.

Eh, I don't watch sports, but I don't inherently hate most sports/teams.

"even if it’s more of a 'sorry you got offended' apology than an actual 'I’m sorry' apology"

I hear ya. I think we're on the same page.

Yeah, the whole thing could use a bit more "The Road."

Eh, I'd like to see a big, coordinated effort to kick in the doors of these cheez-guzzling fucksticks and arrest them. Make it last, say, a month. Just enough to get some idiots in lockup overnight. Might help with understanding that whole "actions have consequences" thing.

I'd love to step into an alternate timeline in which this flick is just kind of…released. No navel gazing essays, no coverage of the coverage of the coverage, no checking in for word from the twitter reactives…just a standard, Summer blockbuster release.

Someone needs to tell Christians that Satan, even going by the source material, doesn't really give a shit about them.

It's like, "Holy shit! Someone is speaking words and not just making goofy faces!"

Didn't have one. Then again, if I had subscribers or whatever, I'd assume that some of them might be interested in hearing about it. ::shrug::

Huh. Leslie Jones seems to be the only reason I'd want to check it out, based on the trailers.

It's all bullshit ego. "I think that this is your REAL motivation, so I'm essentially going to call you a liar and soldier on as if my dumbass assumption is 100% accurate."
