Ummm ~ spoiler alert!!

That got old in a hurry, but seeing things get crushed in a hydraulic press never wears.

I cannot agree with this sentiment.

How to break US law in three easy steps....

My lord, there are more 5th graders in this country who have a better in-depth knowledge of Susan B. Anthony then the president.

As a former teacher, I can pretty much guarantee his elementary school book reports went kind of like this: “This was a great book. I really liked it. Lots of really interesting things happened in it. It also had good characters. I really liked the parts with the descriptions, and the language the author used.”

but if I weren’t president, I wouldn’t be happy to hear that statement. That would be a very scary statement to me because there’s no way we can compete with you. So I would not be happy. I just wouldn’t be happy.

I’m a grant and contract manager with a master’s degree funded as an “indirect expense” and I say fuck that guy right in his noseholes because I can barely afford living expenses as it is.

I’m drowning in my dissertation right now, but almost finished and gearing up for a post doc. I’ve been NIH and/or AHRQ funded for more than a decade, through both full time work and graduate education. I do injury outcomes research, and I’m somewhat fortunate that my research field is heavily funded by the DoD, so I

Gotta keep that coal burning though!

Same here.

I’m going. Not a scientist, but I support rationality.

Yes. Everybody, find yours and go. If anything, the local ones might be better than the Washington one, as far as lighting a fire under state level people (the current federal government doesn’t care how many people march down the national mall).

Yup. I am a postdoc being funded by an NIH grat. Without NIH funds, I’d have no job.

Every single scientist better go to the March for Science. This is not a drill people. This is not a drill.

That’s the GOP plan. They intentionally destroy the government and make it as bad as possible then turn to their constituents and go “See???? The government can’t do anything well!”

I’m a clinical guy and so do very little research (and none funded), but many of my colleagues - and my wife - do wonderful and beneficial research with NIH backing.

It’s amazing how they go out of their way to hire the most incompetent, most unfit person for the specific task.
