I watched 3 episodes of Frankenhole and am pretty sure it is the worst thing on TV. And I've seen Robot Chicken.

Colbert has been consistently funnier than The Daily Show for like 3 years now and still gets no critical respect. He sings with Elvis Costello, he testifies before congress, he spends an entire episode discussing art with Steve Martin. It's really been a great season.
lol Paradox
OK, so this is a new expansion for EU3. It is focused on Asia. There are new systems in place for China's internal factions, the hordes of the steppes, and Japan's warring states period. You have now learned infinitely more information than is shown off in this cheapo trailer.
What was that
I was hoping we'd have the embarrassment of yet another AI trying and failing to play the actual card game.
Well it had a good tracking shot and the fourth wall breaking conclusion was definitely unexpected for a prestige picture. That's probably all the praise I can muster.
The accusatory subtexts doesn't exist in any coherent, articulated form. The text is gory, shocking torture being consumed by a readily accepting public. Saying these films hold up some kind of mirror to real world events is a justification, an excuse for a genre that does far more to normalize our expectations of…
@CHOMPS, Somehow critics manage to pick up this allusion to real world torture and the public seems to miss it. I suspect one of two things:
1) These films are not actually intended as commentary on real life events, instead they are intended to make a buck off of the public's appetite for gore and shock with the…
The Cowardice of the Horror Director
So there is yet another torture porn "classic" which, after achieving its notoriety by being even more brutal and over the top than the rest of the genre, justifies itself by claiming to hold a mirror up to society. No doubt, Guantanamo Bay, the institutionalization of torture, and…
Geez if you're going to pick a Japanese thing to compare to the Holocaust you could at LEAST pick an actual atrocity. Pearl Harbor is weaksauce compared to the Rape of Nanking or the Bataan Death March. Learn some history for your inflammatory trolls!
As good as anything on TV
Hard to believe so few people watched it. It was well written and acted, but also far more accessible than something like Rubicon. Did people confuse it for the 15 other hour-length detective dramas rattling around basic cable? Is Donal Logue just too ugly to carry a show?
Shutter Island was a competent genre exercise that would never, ever receive awards notice if anyone besides Scorsese's name was on it.
You see, teacher's unions make it so that only a tiiiiny fraction of teachers are ever fired.
"Actually, only a tiny percentage of Charter schools have a high success rates.
Kal Penn had his name before that movie. Like literally the 4th member of the cast credited, right after the leads. He has no dialogue. None.
Agreeing with Misconceptiopn, Lasagna Cat is the funniest thing I have seen on the internet in months
Pretty sure its just Nathan Rabin with an irrational hatred for the show at this point. I'm sure he'll post some godawful stream of consciousness bullshit hating on the last 2 episodes from his blackberry next week.
Alas, you were too smart for TV!
*Tortures source for information*
I had interpreted the guy coming down the stairs as comic relief as well, when you see Janice dragooning everyone into a weepy testimonial about the person they all hated, it's time to lay low until the moment passes.
