Registering for the draft is not enlisting. Every male has to register, but the military would never actually draft someone who is blind. It’s amazing that half the country is completely ignorant about how the draft works.
I am opposed to the draft, period. But IF young men are required to register when they turn 18 (which, again, I believe they should not be), then young women should, as well.
