Haven't seen Black Dynamite, but I love Walk Hard for its silliness, and obviously Airplane! is a timeless masterpiece. And holy shit, that French film sounds amazing.

From the trailers I got the impression that was going to be like a crazy high-budget cross between The Heart, She Holler and Darkplace, but it's more like a cross between Walk Hard and Darkplace that's not as good…

I think it's clear from his dismissal of Nick Cave post-Birthday Party and post-hardcore Husker Du that while Buzz is really passionate about rock music, he's just one of those niche guys who doesn't really understand anything that doesn't RAWK. Which is fine, but his opinion should be taken with a grain of salt.

Non-Christian would get boring pretty fast; there are only so many movies you can watch based on the Haunted-Hanukkah premise.
