I think that’s the real benefit from the vegetarian menu. Taco Bell has a huge vegetarian (or dairy free) menu already if you include substitutions. The issue is they always, always get it wrong. I used to sub beans for beef in the cheesy potato burrito, but got beef so many times that now if I stop at a Taco Bell I

...and this guy peed on it!

I can’t believe it’s already been 12 years since Masseduction.  I feel old.

-More music outside my comfort zone (note: this is my resolution every year.)

No, but you’re welcome to try my new free Bowie app, Gilbert Gottfried’s Guide To Tin Machine

Now playing

Got into Movietone and Cindytalk in a big way:

The adorable kid romance is also mixed race, as I recall.

The title of the movie might be the worst part about it. Love, Actually. Just by virtue of the title, the movie makes a promise it can’t even come close to keeping.

That’s near the top for a reason. Love the sound of that album, I hear some Raincoats and Red Krayola influence in there but really it’s its own thing. Nothing else sounds like it.

(Scene: Int. Castle. Camera tracks down hallway to IMPERIAL BEDROOM, where P. North is staring wistfully out of a window. The window is shaped like a butt.)

I think the “sophomoric” aspect you reference is probably going to keep Sorry To Bother You off of a lot of lists for sure. It worked for me, though so I’m probably that 10 out of 10 you’re talking about. STBY definitely took some risks, but the payoff varies person to person.

I would love to see Kraus live.  I bet he puts on a face-melting show.

You should see a doctor about that.

Loved Shopping and Shame.

Put ‘em here.

I’m really happy to see Saba ranked so high on this list. A lot of lists seem to have forgotten about him this year, I’d say Care For Me is my favorite rap album this year (in a year with a lot of fucking great rap albums).

Aviary is AOTY for me.  For the first few listens, I was asking myself “is this album really that fucking good or is it just a 90-minute epic for the hell of it?” and every time I was forced to conclude that it really, really is that fucking good.

Maladroit >>>>>>>> Green Album.

I had no clue Aviation was Ryan Reynolds’s brand. It’s a good gin, though I prefer either The Botanist or Uncle Val’s Botanical. If I’m out and the drink comes with Aviation though, I’m into that.

Honestly, with how awful some of the nominees have been lately, this is pretty good. Roxy Music was long overdue. Love The Cure. Radiohead, Janet, Stevie, Zombies... all very deserving.
