To a point. For people of Norm Macdonald’s status, that’s largely true. I’d put good money up that the majority of people who claim to be “apolitical” are quite a lot lower on the socioeconomic ladder. There’s some distaste for the status quo there, but it’s harder to look at the big picture when you’re striving.
Anyone who’s paid any attention to Norm MacDonald over his career knows two things: One, that he’s one of the comedy greats, and two, that his personal/political views can be summed up in one word: “Ugh”.
