I was at Rehoboth this weekend, went to Dogfish Head and had the Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout, as you do at the beach. It was too sweet and gross but it fucked me up something terrible, so it’s not all bad.

Emmylou Harris — Hard Times

I’m seeing the tour too. It’s a rare band where I’m more excited for the post-reunion record than the post-reunion tour.

The three songs released so far from this album are all brilliant. I’m ready to hear the whole thing. From the review, it sounds like a killer record.

Same here. Don’t know that I’m getting back on here though, after a listen... it isn’t much like any of those first three albums. It’s not folk so much as folk-rock, which isn’t really appealing to me.

It’s like Lord of The Rings. Right now, I’m Throatwarbler the Grey, but then someone replies, I fight a Balrog for two straight days on top of a mountain, it kills me, then I come back as Throatwarbler the White. Basically that whole trilogy is about wasting time on the internet.

Rated R is definitely their best album, but Songs for the Deaf and their self-titled are similar in style (if a little less varied in sound than R) and rock pretty hard to my ears.

Yeah, I’m going I need that legacy account at some point. I got comments going back to 2009, I can’t just start over!
