I make my white trash/bread croutons indoors but grilled sounds to be even better. I just melt butter over low heat in a frying pan, and cut up white bread to crouton size, toss into pan, season, toss and adjust into single layer. Let it go till done then flip.

My old fat ps3 was bad but not that bad. Turned out it didn’t like the Wi-Fi security. Once I disabled the Wi-Fi security, it worked great. Of course you can’t leave it that way but it can help with testing. I just ran it wired but eventually a new router (bought for separate reasons) worked.

My guess is the switch is dropping the indicator because the far end (pc) is no longer connecting at that rate for reasons above. The switch isn’t dropping the speed, it’s just reporting what the connection speed is.

I’m wondering if it’s really the insurance company wanting to sue. Someone has to pay those hospital bills. Like the 2015 case of an aunt suing an 8yo nephew

If the switch port and cable used are good with another device, it’s likely your desktop somehow. Is the Ethernet driver up to date? Might even be motherboard firmware if it’s onboard.  Could also be the jack itself. Maybe get a cheap Ethernet card. I’ve seen Ethernet ports go bad.
