I’ll see your Thursday and raise you a Saturday

Perfect method and testing of the brines. I’ve used pepperoncini jar liquid for a quick brine like your pickle juice (and the peppers in they final dish) and it was great

In addition to above comments, sugar really helps with color. Especially with the temperatures of home ovens

Pizza. You can go down a rabbit hole but keeping it simple is very inexpensive compared to what you’d spend for something comparable. Flour, water, salt, yeast, sugar and time. Toppings can vary from traditional to whatever leftovers you might have. One of our favorites is a Japanese curry pizza that was born from

Came here for this

Works great in a quesadilla

I used to say “don’t make me look dumb” and it never steered me wrong. Being a guy makes it a little easier I think. Nowadays I cut it myself. It grows back so I can screw up and buzz it. I wear a hat most of the time anyway. Saves a little money plus the time and effort are better spent elsewhere

Those all look amazing! I make mine SV like your batch 4. What I do first is pat dry then salt and air dry in fridge uncovered 24 hours, then use no salt in the rub. The meat absorbs the perfect amount

I can’t like Hendricks g&t enough. Amazing. We served Hendricks at our (mostly diy) wedding in October and brought cucumbers... The bartenders had no idea what they were for until I asked for one. The Hendricks was the one liquor we ran out of... It’s expensive but so very worth it.

I had a diesel generator mechanic at my work for the yearly PM on our backup gen. He told me they no longer call it preventive maintenance... Its now ‘Planned Maintenance’

I’ve transitioned from flying freedom rockets to the thumbs up. People really get taken aback by it, they can’t process a positive gesture with what they just did.

Soy sauce (I liked golden mountain ‘seasoning sauce’), fresh chopped garlic, black pepper, white pepper, little bit of oil and crushed red pepper for spice. I like steak tips and onions marinated overnight then skewer.

Instant pot really helps with the refried game! If you can remember to soak overnight, 10 minutes is good. From dry I go about an hour.

Curry could be a Japanese curry with rice. I like the scrapple idea. Breakfast based with eggs, cheese, potato

I’m in mass and can regularly find scrapple. Check the freezer breakfast section. Maybe try market basket too.

To this day, whenever I’m overly pumped about anything I yell ‘ I’ve been drink green tea all goddam day!’

I do something similar... I’ll put the tick in a folded piece of tape then crush the tick inside. I’ll number the tape and put that in a zip loc bag, noting the numbers with a name/date and any other things of note. I include the dog in this.

EDcT: Every Day (carry) Tupperware

Yo dawg

It’s that movie your friend with Starz suggested you see. I’m that friend, it came out of nowhere that I really liked it. Surprisingly so. So a friend prob spent the $3 on the rental.
