Cyberpunk 2077 is not a next-gen game. It was not marketed as a next-gen game, it has not received next-gen enhancements, and they were clear on the investor calls that it wasn’t a launch title for XSX / PS5.

It's cool you enjoy the game but calling the PS4 generation "old" isn't telling the whole story. They promised that the game would run similarly on PS4 to the next generation and that's just...not true. I've got the PS4 hard copy, disabled all the visual options that suck up processing and it STILL is hard to look at

I still don’t think it’s too much to ask that the game runs well on Xbox One or PS4 hardware. The game was announced BEFORE those consoles were and was specifically targeted for them. I’m confident that it’ll get there, but releasing in the state they did and only allowing reviewers access to the PC version before…

Is it though? Selick directed Coraline without any Burton input and it’s still both awesome and pretty clearly the same director as The Nightmare Before Christmas. Given how inferior The Corpse Bride is compared to Nightmare I think people tend to undervalue Selick’s contributions to Nightmare.

His other lasting contribution to pop culture is the bass-baritone lead from "Grim Grinning Ghosts" in Disney's various Haunted Mansions.

I think the general idea isn’t so much that Harry Shearer shouldn’t be allowed to play Dr Hibbert as maybe not every single character regardless of color needs to be played by a white person. If it were an occasional thing and POC were getting their fair share of voice work, it would be less of an issue.

He never should have been hated in the first place. It says more about the fans than it does him.

Whether or not you find it persuasive that is, indeed, the character. He explains that in the original comics. He’s deus ex machana, the hand of god, the reason Padme died(because ‘it’s in the script’). He lives his entire life at the same time and cannot change it.

I’m surprised the show didn’t have the beam hit be the result of him coming to protect Angela.

Truth. I think some people crticizing this portrayal of Manhattan being a bit too human. Dr. Manhattan has had time to reflect on his choices and experiences he should change and be different.

The point is that the Dr. knows that gun is there but can’t move because he doesn’t move, the only reason he knows it’s there is because he’s going to be shot by it.
