They just did an article on that crowdfunded Spear of Longinus. Hopefully with that and this inclusion, maybe something is brewing. Although, I can just imagine the comments will be filled with people ragging about the Christian symbolism even though it's a pretty small part of the show, therefore completely missing

Remember that bizarre JC Penney commercial starring her like in 2004? It had some amazing dance moves, but I was always creeped out by that black bobblehead guy. Was he a new mascot? Was he a slightly racist caricature? WHY WAS HE THERE?! https://www.youtube.com/wat…

*entire soundtrack of Xanadu tears through brain tissue unmercifully*

To be fair, Xanadu really is the gift that keeps on giving.

And according to some realities, PRESIDENT Disco Mutant.

Sssoooo, is this article just forgetting about Bedelia and Freddie, or what?

I actually own that movie. Partly because I kind of had a thing for Jeremy Sumpter in high school (still do, but he's dropped off the face of the earth), but also because of my love of ridiculous premises like this.

From what I understand, AXN (a sony property) also covers a large chunk of the cost. NBC either just pays around 1/3, or just licenses it.

That body was probably the best part of "Along Came Polly"

You know that laugh that you get like once every two years or so, when you laugh so hard that you literally break down and can't breathe? I had that laugh during that Larry King-as-Geoff bit, and I've gotten 2 friends to also have that laugh when showing them on Youtube. It was a truly magical episode.

They've openly taken inspiration from Evangelion before, so that's where my mind went too.

I remember that deleted scene being inserted into the character connections featurette in the season 2 DVD. Do we know if that's an oversight or if that made it canon?

Well, if we wouldn't have had the writer's strike, we would have 2-3 episodes extra, which I think would have gone to the freighter folk. She could have been Faraday's shrink or something. I don't think it would be hard to shoehorn her into one of their flashbacks.

Not to be the resident LOST-apologist, but if you're interested in more Libby stuff, here is my understanding about what happened. So, the Libby storyline was apparently going to be resolved in Season 4. Cynthia Watros was quite (understandably) sour about being killed off so soon after moving her family to Hawaii,

I can't say I "liked" her, but I always appreciated how believable she was. She was written well, and to this day, I'm still a bit surprised by the hate. It kind of reminds me of the Skyler White hate from Breaking Bad, in that the hate-levels are seriously huge for some reason.

Thank you! I always thought that was a HUGE hint too, especially during 316, when Hawking was vomiting exposition and lore about electromagnetic Hellmouths.

Pigpen has always been a monster.

That could very well be true, but if the Island-was-purgatory thing was real, it was changed immediately after the first run of episodes, because they were already hinting at the electromagnetism angle mid-season 1 ("Hearts and Minds") with Sayid's comment about the malfunctioning compass.

So, I'm going to say a few things that you may want sources on, and I'm happy to dig them up if you want, but for now I'll just wall-of-text you. :P
