That was fucking magnificent.
That was fucking magnificent.
His reaction to the mines confuses me.... after playing Fallout 3/New Vegas as much as he has, is he not aware that you can disarm mines without almost any problem if you're sneaking?
To me its just a much more direct way of becoming a shareholder. Only without a lot of the legal oversights that that relationship has. Either way: literacy and an understanding of what you're willing to put up with is all thats required to not fuck yourself on a kickstarter as far as I'm concerned.
Easily one of the best adaptations I can think of. That game was so glorious in so many ways.
Thats... actually damned good point. Once money is involved, its only going to grow. Perhaps we should take bets on which mafia group gets involved first?
Sure, micromanaging every aspect of other people appearances so they're 'good' enough to represent your group is totally reasonable.
I'm still lost on when exactly it was decided that the Watchmen movie was bad. Like 2-3 years went by and everyone I knew was always like aw fuck yeah watchmen. Now? We have articles like this that take it for granted.
Massive Attack and Portishead are what got me really paying attention to music as a kid. Still on my playlists today
by rip off you mean develop his game around 3 other games ideas, one of which was only ever pre-alpha and all development stopped on a month after first release?
As someone who recently found out they have celiacs disease:
I wouldn't be terribly shocked if they did this because they knew they'd likely get even more fan hate over any stylistic changes, minor or major, than just re-releasing.
I have no idea, I hate the taste and feel of baked apples. These people are insane.
wait wait.... For some reason I have this impression looking at the ghoul cowboy guy, but please tell me you play as a ghoul.
Ahhhh ok, yeah I remember hearing about that. And Xerath had a thing too yeah?
What exactly did League do though? I keep reading that they nuked their storyline and changed everything, but when I play league all the character back stories look identical to me. I mean, Ionia is still a thing, Noxus is around, what was the change? Or was there an overarching storyline that was even further…
well, DLC wasn't always based on money either, that started being common around 2005 or so. For instance, Total Annihilation offered a ton of new maps units and buildings for free on their website when it was rolling. It was more "Holy fuck guys, this internet thing is awesome, we could totally inject new content…
I regularly pick up Doom of any sort. DoomRL is a personal favorite, though Brutal Doom has been a glorious distraction the last bit. Fallout 1-2 have been constantly present on my machine, and if I had a joystick Freespace 2 would be getting played a lot more. I still hop on Descent 1-2 with mods occasionally to…
that was glorious.
Damn. Good description. I can attest to this too, up until I finally saw Captain America in the theater I'd always hated the entire concept of him. (I had the idea it was all obnoxiously mindless patriotism) But the movie turned him into one of my favorite heroes, as someone who was only mildly into superheroes at…
