I had little issue progressing as a combat heavy character. I’d generally stealth my way in, but once I was discovered, all bets were off.

F.E.A.R. 1’s AI was and still is (imo) the best FPS AI ever created. Their behavior is different every single playthrough, and the things they can do that aren’t pre-scripted makes the pre-scripted events blend seamlessly. They’ll do pincher formations, flush you from cover with grenades, I’m really sad it hasn’t…
